Please read carefully before scheduling the shipment of your order

While we do everything possible to keep our freight cost down, we are at the mercy of outside trucking companies. For that reason, we start with basic shipping rates and then offer you these options:

The following services are available for and additional fee.  To include any of these fees,  add them at checkout.  If you have a question, please contact our shipping department at 1.312.666.0900.

IMPORTANT: Freight charges cover tailgate delivery to commercial address only. Tailgate Delivery means that the truck will pull up in front of the salon and open the back of the truck up.  The client is responsible for taking their shipment off the truck and carrying it into the salon.

Please note: Chairs are delivered in two boxes, a chair top and a chair bottom.  Minimal assembly is required. Stations and other wood products come in several boxes; installation is required. We recommend contacting a local contractor to complete any necessary installation.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES:

DELIVERY NOTIFICATION-$10 (Available on truck deliveries only)

LIFT GATE SERVICE-$150  (Available on truck deliveries only)

·        The freight company will bring a truck with a lift gate.  The lift gate is used to lower the item from the truck bed down to the ground.

·        Useful if the client does not have a loading dock.

·        Truck driver will NOT carry the item into the salon.

·        It is the client’s responsibility to carry the item into the salon.

INSIDE DELIVERY-$50 (Available on truck deliveries only)

·        Truck Driver will HELP carry item inside.

·        Client must have a freight elevator if they are not on the first floor.

·        Inside delivery does NOT include carrying the item up stairs.

(This service is NOT available).

·        If the client does not have a loading dock they must pay for Lift Gate Services in additional to Inside Delivery if weight of item(s) is prohibitive of manual movement of goods.

RESIDENTIAL DELIVERY-$50 (Available on truck deliveries only)

·        Used if the client is having item delivered to their home or a home-base salon.

·        Additional transit time may be incurred if the shipment needs to be re-consigned to a smaller truck.

(This service is NOT available).

·        If the client does not have a loading dock they must pay for Lift Gate Services in additional to Inside Delivery if weight of item(s) is prohibitive of manual movement of goods.

Please inspect all boxes for any signs of damage before signing and accepting the delivery.  Once you have signed the bill of lading, you agree that you are accepting the order as is.  If there are signs of damage, the please be sure to note it on the bill of lading and sign it.

Freight Damage

If Customer receives  freight damaged products; please refuse the products upon original delivery attempt. If damaged products are accepted from the carrier, such damage should be noted on the carrier delivery record. Please save the product and the original packaging and notify VEECO MANUFACTURING, INC. immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and a pick up of damaged pro ducts. Please notify VEECO MANUFACTURING, INC. Customer Relations at customerrelations@veecomanufacturing.com of damaged products WITHIN THE FIRST 5

DAYS of receipt (3 days for concealed damage). Timely receipt of this information is necessary for VEECO MANUFACTURING, INC. to file a damage claim.

Damaged Products does not refer to items marked “as is” or “damaged”.
